Carl fanart...
I did this avatar of Carl from Aqua Teen Hunger Force for my little brother. I thought it was stupid for him to have an older brother that draws stupid stuff for a living and use a crap image for an avatar. So, here they are for anyone to use. Have fun!

I did the artwork for this flash site.
Steve Brown Is My Hero is a site that I did the artwork for a while ago. It's up and fully functional. Steve Brown is a yo-yo performer, and it's the website for his business. As a disclaimer, the site "takes place" in a martini bar, but I in no way advocate drinking. (I had to go into a martini bar in town to actually see what they were like, I had no idea what they even were before this project.) There are also a few sex jokes on the site, they were not of my creation. Anyway, I think it turned out well and it was fun to do the artwork. It does make me realize that I really prefer photoshop over illustrator. Vectors just don't do it for me anymore.
So check it out, if you need a yo-yo guy, call Steve up. He's a nice guy as well as talented. (As is his wife, the designer behind it all.)

Something awesome and also some stuff I did...
I normally don't post stuff by other artists here, but I just saw this on YouTube and it makes me wish I had Nickelodeon. It just amazes me with it's awesomeness in style, animation, and quirky content. Check it out.
Also, here are some boards that I did for some motion design stuff. It is actually for their show reel, they are putting together a portfolio and wanted different kinds of stuff in it. So they hired me to put some stuff together for them. I hope you like.
The little animation for my user-pic was used from this kid. It was kind of fun to put together a little animation. (It also made me realize that doing animation kinda sucks.)

I really like this one.
A simpler Threadless shirt
I was doing this one in the middle of my little "Threadless Challenge" with my brother-in-law (We were supposed to do one per day.) I felt this one to be less inspired than the two previous, yet still good enough to post. If anyone really likes it or something, please vote and comment. If you think it sucks, that's okay. I still like the drawing, I'm just not too sure how well it works as a shirt.

Family Eating
I just finished this illustration for The Friend magazine. I'm going to try using flickr for uploading pics. I like how you can add notes and someone can just look through the illustrations without having to read blog entries if they don't want to. I'm pretty happy with the results of this one. I want to be able to have soft subtle things in illustrations, as well as the things I do that are more stark.

You'll never guess
I told you I was going to do it, and I'm doing it. Please vote a $5. (If you don't something will happen to you. I'm not sure what, but I'm sure that something will happen.)
I started using Flickr.com I like what it is all about. I wonder when there is going to be a super Myspace/Blogger/Flickr/Other crap I don't use site that includes it all. Maybe never, that would be nice.
Also, you should check out my brother-in-law's Threadless entry:
Click for Allen Tenbu. Give that one a $5 as well.
So I was thinking the other night about death. My brother died a little over a year ago, and the idea really scared me. I've always believed that we have a Heavenly Father that has a plan for us that continues after death, but I was thinking about what it would really be like. It scared the crap out of me. (I guess I would never make it as a goth.) So I was trying to reconcile the way I was feeling with my feelings about my faith and I came to a realization. The spiritual expriences I have had in my life are like facts, or proofs of the gospel, but they only work for me. I know that I am a member of God's true church on the earth, but the reasons that I have for knowing that don't work for anyone else. It made me realize that religion can work for people that need to have hard evidence to believe things, but it can only work when those people feel the influence of the Holy Spirit. I just wanted to share what I was thinking about.
