This is a recent job I did for Thriving Family Magazine. I love working for them.
This kind of reminds me of the Record Day illustration I did a while back. I liked doing the albums in the background on that one and I liked doing the photos on this. Most people are in love with the guy with the afro. But my favorite is the kid with the big glasses.

how do you manage to find the right colour schemes for your work? and once you do, how do you translate it into an illustration? i often stumble with colour in my drawings, and usually end up leaving it black and white for that reason :(
