Drew this today. I have heard some positive things from a few people about my pencil drawings with simple color underneath. This is another one. Do you guys like? Or is my "no outline" style more appealing?
The no outline drawings look like paper cutouts, which gives them a lot of dimension, or at least the feeling of dimension, even within the character. Any dimension the pencil drawings have are as a solid unit, instead of independent pieces that come together to create something else. FWIW.
Ok. I like everything you do! You just make it work all the time. I like this because there is some contrast, but the one without outlines breathes more because the black doesn't take too much attention away from the colors. Damn, but they all look so good!

Another Link drawing! My word! JK. I like it all even though the green and yellow are hurting my eyes. Different styles are fun to play with!
I don't know if it's just my monitor, but I think I live in a neon world where intense colors look normal.

I never thought of it in the context of separate parts coming together vs a cohesive unit. It makes me like the line drawing more.
